Piano Lessons

I teach students to read notes and play by ear. I enjoy teaching students of all ages and abilities. I love all genres of music from classical to jazz. I appreciate the unique learning styles and goals of each of my students. Technique, scales, chords, note reading, rhythm, and singing through the piano are all emphasized.

Violin Lessons

Violin lessons in North Branch, Minnesota taught using the traditional, Suzuki, and New Approach (Kato Havas) methods.

I have had training in all these methods. I cater to the needs and goals of my students. I teach how to play the violin beautifully at any level. I emphasize pitch, relaxation while playing, singing through the violin, and violin and bow technique. I love fiddle, classical, and many other styles of music.

Voice Lessons

Voice lessons in North Branch, Minnesota include learning to read notes, and learning rhythm, as well as proper breath support and vowel sounds.

Proper placement of tone is emphasized. All genres of music are encouraged depending on the tastes of the students. Proper technique is a must in order to make a great sound and stay on pitch. I encourage vocal students to learn some keyboard notes in order to learn how to read music.
